Imperial Handcuffs

I decided to take some artistic license on these which resulted in a bit more work than originally intended :( .

I used strong magnetic cupboard catches for the block templates. After dismantling the catches, I cast one with and one without the guts still in.

Mould ready to pour the RTV silicone rubber, second picture shows Mould clamped up to set.

FIrst off, resin is poured and allowed to almost completely set just below the first metal plate position, the second picture shows the first plate and magnet in place.

Resin is then poured to the level of the second plate position, and when nearly set the second plate is added.

This final picture shows the second and final plate still visible below the last layer of unset resin. After repeating the proceedure 4 times. I was left with a heap of catch shaped resin blocks, that need shaping and puttying.
