The long awaited Fine molds 1/72 Millenium Falcon

After pre-ordering a few months ago from Rainbow 10 (and getting 20% off the yen price into the deal) it finally arrived today (7th Jan 2006), all 900 pieces.

What an amazing kit. Fine molds have a great reputation, and this does not dissapoint. The box art is fantastic, and pealing off layer after layer reveals even more stunning pictures of the weathered scale model used by Lucasfilms.

The kit comes with pre-scratched decals for the weathered coloured panels. I feel the need to drop everthing and start work on it, but part of me wants to just keep it in the box to look at ;)
