RC body shells

For Xmas 2004 I bought myself a Traxxas Revo, big kid!

As soon as i had run the engine in I decided to start messing with it :), and set about changing all the plastic parts for blue anodised aluminium ( and some of the heavily abused parts for titanium).

The body shell that comes with the revo (IMO) is a bit crap, so i decided to airbrush a few;

Crowd Pleaser 2

Quite pleased with this for a first attempt, using new techniques and paints. As for all these shells, the lexan is marked on the interior and airbrushed with darkest colour first. I used an XXX main vinyl mask with colour shift paints. The chrome is Alclad.

Porsche 911

A little more ambitious, freehand colour fade and airbrushed carbon fibre effect.

Cadilac Escalade

Wanted to have a go at a ripped metal effect, and shading (again all airbrushed).

Hummer, high vis camo (?!?)

Custom cut mask, the red is a red/gold colour flip.
